Just a quick question; what is it about flouescent paint - say, tempera - that gives it that "glowing" appearance? Is there something inherently about the pigment, or is it just a more intense coloration? Thanks!!
Srandard pigments simply reflect light while fluorescent pigments not only reflect light but emit light under white light due to their fluorescent properties. The effect is even more pronounced under blacklight.
