Mobiles for 2nd grade

I am in need of some neat ideas/methds for 2nd graders to build mobiles!
They study balance in science and make plastic straw and paper- clip mobiles
in the classroom. I have done wire figures, animals, etc. and thought I'd
tackle mobiles this year, but now that I look at them, they seem rather
complicated to plan & construct for this level. I was trying to think of a
5-piece mobile using Twisteez- soft, colorful wire (I might have enough)-
need ideas for themes? Color wheel? Family, interests ?
