I have found that the Prang watercolors are far superior to the Crayola sets.
They are semi-moist and rich in color saturation. The best is that they are
refillable. I buy boxes of replacement colors that are most frequently used.
The downside is that they only offer small sets. I also buy the refill pans
in magenta and turquoise as an extra.
Something to watch out for... I had a crayon resist lesson go bust! Some
kids had WASHABLE crayons and I didn't know it. Well, when we painted over
them, the crayon washed away. That was the first time it ever happened to me.
Now I am wary and check first.
