Is The Fred wilson who will be part of the "conversations at the NAEA by any
chance the Fred Wilson who "deconstructs" art and historical museums? If
so, I saw his exhibit, "Mining the Museum" in Baltimore about five years ago.
It was fascinating--one of the best exhibits I've seen about the protrayal
(misportrayal?) of African Americans in art and culture.
I was looking forward to hearing the Christos, but Sandy Skoglund will also
be excellent. She had an exhibit at the Ulrich Museum at Wichita State
University about eight years or so ago. I'm anxious to see her most current
work.
