Margaret Shepherd has a new book just out.

, The complete Book of Lettering and Design.

It's published by Broadway Books, NY.
ISBN 0-7679-0732-9

I just got a copy from Margaret, because my last calligraphy class helped her edit and review the book before the final copy went to press. They were a mixed class of beginners and advanced students. The whole book is hand lettered. Not a bit of typesetting.

Also any book by John Cataldo is good. You'll have to go to bibliofind.com to get them, though. They are all out of print.

Sorry about any typos or bad grammar. This is the computer where I house-sit and I can't find a lot of things on the key board or e-mail program.
