To update everyone...some of the parents of the threatened students contacted
the sheriff's department over the weekend and that seemed to get the ball
rolling. The two boys who wrote the notes are suspended for ten days and
will probably be expelled. The sheriff and school superintendent were in our
building today to question the boys.

I sincerely think that if the PARENTS had not done something, this would have
been swept under the carpet or not taken seriously. I sense that our
principal feels that expulsion is a bit extreme, but I don't think she has
much of a choice.

Driving home, I heard where another school shooting has taken place in
California. It is very scary.
