Caryn, I teach high school on a block schedule. I teach
3 85-minute classes a day, alternating days. I only have
a 50 minute prep 4 days a week but I volunteered for
this because they were going to eliminate one of my
sequenced courses. I'm supposed to be ready for class at
7:40 and the last class ends at 2:15. Sometimes I stay
and do grading and clean up after school. Others, I take
work home and clean up in the morning. Usually I finish
in an hour at home, if I'm reading the list at the same
time.
On planning evenings, It takes me an hour to write
lesson plans and next morning before school, I get the
maaterials ready.
I hope I've answered your questions, Myriam
