If ever there was a condemnation of our educational philosophies and
practices put into words, this is it. I can barely tolerate the thought of
what this teacher is doing to the students.
I had a somewhat similar experience last night with one of the 'teachers'
(and I use that term VERY loosely, especially out of respect for all of you)
but am equally loathe to call her a facilitator which is what she's supposed
to be. Anyway, I am still too close to that right now and don't want to go
into it, but her damage was at least as great as what your teacher is
causing.
