Well, we are proud of you, too. You are our "artsy-offspring". We were glad
to have nurtured you and helped you reach this pinnacle of Student Teacher
of the Year!!
I am convinced that art teachers ( and especially this Listserve) are the
greatest bunch of folks. By nature we have to be flexible ( from carts to
rooms) , kind ( to take the stuff we do), tolerant (because people steal
our supplies); confident (because we are probably the least respected
teachers in the school)...but I have great admiration for us because we work
hard and because we believe the arts are what makes people more sensitive
and in touch with humanity.
I LOVE what I do. It is a fun job and if you ask me...I think the other
teachers are the losers!
