hello folks
haven't posted in a while...been busy, ah, teaching!! :) just did tie dye
t-shirts/socks/sweats/etc with my 3rd grade, and had a GREAT time, and the
shirts came out wonderfully. they've been granted permission to WEAR them
next week, too! (uniforms, here) anyway...as a gift to a class that I had
to cancel in order to see my own daughter in her play, i am going to dye with
5th graders again, and hope the left over dyes will be all right after two
days. I made the dyes at home (r,y,b,v, pink) in squeeze bottles. I made SO
much, though, that I know there will be left over again! can I dye my
hardwood blocks (have sooo many, in laundry baskets!!) in bowls of this? i
made it very concentrated. any other ideas? quick!
MP
ps the shirts are SO NEAT! they really GOT the sunbursts, the stripes or the
SPIRALS and followed the directions!! :)
