One of these days, when I have time, I will comment on what I think is
happening in our art colleges. But to answer this post - I know of only one
school that is keeping tradition -- that is the Pennsylvania Academy of
Art in Philadelphia. It's one of the oldest schools in the country. It's
onetime head was Thomas Eakins. If I had it to do over again, this is where
I would go.
