From the presenter's standpoint, the "for pay" workshops can be a life saver
because accurate planning for numbers of hand outs and resources can be
done. After a horrible experience at the Chicago conference where Nancy and
I had planned for perhaps 20 or 25 people to show up for a Friday evening
games workshop, I have always worried about having enough materials. At that
free workshop we had two rooms completely filled ... people sitting on the
floor and standing up at the back of the rooms. We had brought our meager
number of handouts and only postcards for playing the games! How could we
have predicted that many people or a room that large for a Friday night
presentation? We were fortunate that we were able to send handouts to
everyone who did not receive them at the conference, but that was a real
    chore.

But, I absolutely agree about the worthiness of the free workshops. There is
a bounty of knowledge to be had there.

Thank you for the kind words abot the Crystal Interdisciplinary study prints
for which Nancy and I have written the text. The Art/Music set recently won
a national award of excellence. At present we are working on two new sets:
    self portraits and murals.

    See you all in LA.
