createx dyes are great..mix with room temp. tap water and fixative in squirt
bottles..tie up shirts in pinwheel fashion...use a fork to twist...secure
with rubberbands...use plastic lawn bags to cover tables ... have students
wear rubber gloves.and plastic aprons..use buddy system...one is using the
dye ,the other is holding the plastic bag open for the dyed shirt...apply dye
with squirt bottles to wet but wrung out shirts...place in plastic bags
overnight...next day rinse and hang up to dry....I send home the wet rinsed
shirts home in plastic bags to be dried...or send home with rinse out
instructions in plastic bags...did this with aprox. 200 kids every summer
at camp..and do it with my hs students as last project of the year...great
fun and they look great too!
