    Twenty or thirty years ago, there was a tv show called Rowan & Martin's Laugh
    In. Several dancers wearing bikinis (including Goldie Hawn) would shimmy and
    boog-a-loo with exposed arms, legs, backs, etc. covered in body paint. Some
    pure design and words or short, humorous messages. Very eye-catching and
    certainly fitting the contemporary culture at that time. Tribal indeed!
    Maybe you can still see these shows on Nick at Night or TV Land.
