i am astonished that such ignorance and narrowmindedness exists among highly
educated people. sometimes statements like this make me think i'm nuts
because i see teaching art as an awesome responsibility. don't we teach art
to try to help young people understand the world around them and not grow up
to be like this principal?
i apologize that i am not offering curriculum advice, in ny we have state
standards that we use as guidelines, i was just venting. i'd scream if my
administrator said this.
