Our whole school banned backpacks for other reasons. They can bring them to
school, but must leave them in their locker. They may take them to their
8th period class so they'll have time to make it to the bus. It works very
well. It takes about two weeks to get them into the hang of it. Then, we
had discipline for those who consistantly forgot. I'm not sure how it would
work just for art class.
