    Hi all,
    Just 8 days away from spring break and it's snowing in N. Michigan.
    Despite the weather, spring fever is bursting and one of its aspects is
    that stealing picks up. I'm getting hit harder than usual due to my
    situation with needing supplies out of my closet and having to send kids
    with my keys. Personal things are getting swiped so I'm getting a lock
    on one of my file cabinets for personal belongings. The other issue is
    petty vandalism and thievery off my cart. I'm thinking of banning
    backpacks. What do you think about this?

    Would it show distrust and result in resentment?
