Yes, I have tried this. This is one of the first projects that I do. I
start with 2 minute intervals and reduce the time from there. I emphasize
the importance of getting all the information done first, before drawing the
details. I feel this helps students see the "big picture". Quite often a
student will start a drawing and end up going off the page because the
drawing was not "planned out" first. This activity also helps me see the
students can do.
