    I think they are a bit more hardened than that. I think you have to
    be, when your in charge/head of a department. I am also saddened by
    the closing of the list. It's helped through the times when we've
    moved so often, and will again soon. I also don't understand why
    they did away with the DBAE artsed group. If they treat some
    wonderful, insight, caring and dedicated people, such as Marlin and
    the other people involved this way, then why would we think we would
    be treated differently? I also feel regardless of them closing the
    list they should thank us for being apart- because we are a hell of
    a resource too. It would have been tactful to address this to us
    personally and would have been nice for Marlin to say good bye so we
    could thank him too- If your out there- THANKS! I think it's more
    business than education and they are putting their resources
    elsewhere. I hope I will still have access to the archives but I
    better start looking soon. I also hope the publications will be
    available, since I never got around to ordering any of them but
    still have the catalog somewhere.
