    Tough one--it's Italian, and the *scuro* has no English equivalent--to
    make that sound think *school o* replace *ool* sound with the *oor*
    sound in *doer*. This first sound is identical to *key* in English,
    next is *are ah*. Roughly this: key-ar-a-SCOOR-o. And you have to
    imagine you're in Florence or Rome to get the right inflection--as well
    as the proper gestures! :-)
