    sky-your art show presentation sounds great. I do a very similar show.
    another nice idea I did last year was to video tape some students creating
    the projects. Then I had "loop tapes" running in various areas showing the
    teaching and the process of the projects. I also had a puppet show on tape
    for the parents to see next to puppets. Did I undeerstand correctly that
    your show is up for 6 weeks? I decorate the entire hallway and caf. and my
    show is only up for one day and night!!!! lucky you...mine is really so
    wasteful becuase it is down before you know it and many students and parents
    don't even get to see it!
    Oh another idea...I had parents wrap show boxes in various colored paper so
    use as levels for display....very effective and gave extra dimensions to the
    3-d tables.
    A third idea...I allowed some children to do "good grafetti" on the walkway
    to the school ....it was really cute.
