Thanks for your response. I am usually a "break the rules" kind of teacher-
but for painting I feel like my kids need a formula of some kind to get
started. I have always had them draw with thinned out paint rather than
pencil- it is a great way to get them to think "big". The paintings are
coming along, most kids who have artist instincts are doing great- other kids
struggling. But what's new about that?
