        Sometimes I feel like it is a curse when students say that I am their
    "favorite teacher." It makes me think that I am not doing my job. But then I
    look around and see what makes me different than the rest - especially
    teachers from the students' past. Who was it that said there's a reason why
    we have two ears and one mouth? Unfortunately, I think too many teachers
    overwork the mouth and don't use their ears enough. Food for thought...
