    If I am understanding Hakki correctly, is s/he talking about, not the end or
    cessation of art, but the goal/s and purpose/s of art? As in, why do we
    create? Why different art forms? Why symbolism rather than realism, or
    vice versa? What do different art forms seek to convey which others do not,
    such as cubism and pointillism?

    Is these Hakki's question?
