    That's hitting the nail on the head.

    Exactly; if they don't know how to do it, have not had the opportunities to
    practice it, and do not have a model in the classroom (as well as at home,
    in the administrators, and in society),...they just won't do it. We need to
    stop hoping that some kind of magic will happen and the light bulb will turn
    on. We need to take the time and the challenge upon ourselves to challenge
    them in their learning process.
