Dear Jill,
What to make an impact? Say..." OK,________, I'll call your parents tonight
and we'll see how they feel about it."
Even if the parents seem to have the same attitude, your point can be made
that
without their support, it's doubtful if there children will learn respect for
any adult
unless parents back the teacher 100%. Attitude can prevent someone from
learning at any level . Creativity is a valuable commodity in todays
high-tech world, and Art is the place to develop this skill. Creative
thinking infiltrates every dimension of today's workplace and those who
possess that skill mare it's C.E.O's and it's leaders.
Another point- " As your child's teacher it is my responsibility to see to it
that
___________ attitude does not disrupt the atmosphere of respect and learning
in my class, please discuss these issues with him/her and help them write a
paragraph
about attitude and how it affects learning."
I doubt you'll hear from little _______ again.
If you need a paragraph on "attitude " for them to copy...I've got one.
