Hi Jill,
Last year I gave the kids (6,7, and 8) a sheet divided into 4
sections--it had a
fancy border& graphic just to make it more official looking. At the top
it said: My goals for the year 2000 are: with the instruction that they
were to draw themselves attaining four of their goals. On the back, there
was a month by month chart with the instruction: This is what I plan to
do each month toward my goals. I had them write it that part. They then
presented their goals and plans to the class. I thought it was important
to attach a plan of action so they would understand the difference between
dreaming and reaching.
