I'm trying to do this too, though not whole heartedly, just in my free
time.In addition to literature that has an "art bend" to it, I am also
looking for children's books that have illustrators whose styles the kids
can imitate. *And, yes, for the record, I am thinking about putting this
in !!a book!!* --- for interested people who like to work with children
in art and creativity, and generally to stimulate interest in chidlren's
books. For example, Eric Carle's collage technique, Van Allsburg's snow
and lights at night technique, and so on. I will share it with this
mailring if I ever get it done. Until then, feel free to share titles you
think might add to my list or Kelly's list ... and I will share it back
to you -- eventually!
