Melissa-
i have observed in a classroom at the middle school level which is much as
you describe.....in Holmen, WI. The two teachers are very simpatico...they
are definitely on the same wavwe lenghth. They love it! One is basically the
discipline guy...the other does the presentations, etc. They have a closed
circuit tv set up where the camera focuses on a demonstration table and is
viewed by the students on two giant tvs. Quite a set up. They have been able
to offer a gt program during their classes and run a gallery due to having
two of them in each class...one can actually walk out the door to attend to
somkething else. I am not sure I'd like it...although I do love team
teaching! I do teach one class (every day) which has about 40 kids and two
teachers. We like it, but we also have space to break into two groups if we
want.
Good luck!
