Due to the young age of some of our patrons, we gave banned some types of
objects from the recycled art tables we do with some exhibits. Glass, metal
containers with sharp edges, and anything that originally contained
something potentially harmful to young children (medicine bottles both OTC
and prescription, shampoo bottles, bleach bottles etc). Some volunteers
objected saying I was too cautious, and that the containers could be cleaned
and made safe. With the containers, I was more worried that a child might
decide to play with the same type of container at home and be hurt. What do
y'all think? Our patrons range in age from 2-12 years old.
