One of the schools with which I have interviewed has re-posted its opening -
two months after the initial posting. They never sent me a rejection letter,
but never contacted anyone about me either. Am I just being old fashioned to
think it's simple courtesy to let someone who has bothered to drive several
hours to an interview know they've been rejected? - they were very nice, I
can't imagine them not bothering to do that, though I know the corporate
world seldom troubles themselves to do so any more --- or are there other
reasons they might have done this, like, they didn't feel that they got
enough applications. Your more experienced insight would be appreciated.
