I just found out that the committee to organize a wedding shower for my
daughter's male teacher has bombed because they couldn't pull it together.
I real like this teacher and think that surely, there can be some way for
his fifth grade students to cheer him on with some adult help.
Budget is tight but we are good on talent and creativity. Right now I am
thinking of making him a cake and doing fruit salad. As for the gift, I
thought of maybe a gift basket of indulgences for he and is new bride but I
am open to ideas. I had thought that maybe the kids could write their
thoughts on marriage, etc. and we could make them in to a book, or maybe by
him an empty scrapbook and decorate the main pages by inserting a class
picture, etc.
Come on gang--you're the best, help me touch this man's heart as he has his
students. Any great quotes on marriage or take of topic sentences about
marriage? All ideas welcome!
