MA and RI certification question...

Hi There,
I have been teaching art and animation classes at summer camps and after
school programs for a while now and love it! I am very excited to get my
certification so I can do this full time. I currently hold a BFA and have
been accepted into two graduate art education programs. One program is in RI
(Rhode Island College) and the other is in MA (Umass, Dartmouth). My
concern is that if I decide to follow the program in MA, which leads to
certification in MA, that I will have difficulties getting certification in
RI (the state I currently reside in).
I called the RI certification board with my questions but to be honest
they were incredibly vague and couldn't give me a straight answer. So, I am
wondering how difficult it is to get certified in RI if you are certified in
MA. I know that their requirements are different... If anyone out there has
any information about this I would be incredibly grateful to hear from you.
Also, if anyone has any experience (positive or negative) with either of the
graduate programs I am considering I would like to hear from you too. Much
thanks and hope everyone out there is enjoying their much deserved vacations!
