Yet another way to marble paper....

Hi everyone,
There has been interest in different ways to marble paper
(marbleizing....which is it?) the past few days. I decided to do it with my
classes today and a 4th grader said she did it at home using nailpolish on
water. "It really spreads!" she said. I haven't tried it but I would be
concerned about the acetone and fumes. We used a marbling ink set I ordered
last year. Expensive. 6 small bottles of colored ink for $18.00. Will not
buy it for next year. The students were having a difficult time dripping the
ink onto the water without squirting out at least a teaspoon at a time. What
a waste. I cringed each time it happened. Just wanted to pass along the new

Carolyn in HOT 96 degrees MA!
