ColorIt! is a very good program to use with your students. I use the old
"draw your shoe" subject. The sight of shoes sitting on top of the Macs
will bring delight and inspiration to students and anyone else who comes by.
Students do two-point perspective drawings of buildings very successfully.
Drawing straight lines and using horizontal and vertical without fail is so
encouraging. Fantastic landscapes are possible for almost any middle school
student beginning with a basic understanding of two-point.
We use Clarisworks Slideshow for students to make presentations of their
work for open house or other school events. You can also do some basic
animation techniques.
