Many, many, many years ago I had watched a PBS show about painted boxes
and furniture called, I vaguely recall as, "Ya-Ya Art". I think it was
Appalachian Folkart? Boxes were painted on every side, with scenes from
life, similar to a scrapbook or photo album recording events. The same
with chairs. It's the boxes I remember as being a great idea.
Does anyone know anything about this or where I can learn more about
this? I have been wanting to do this with my art students for years...
Thanks in advance, Linda
