Marsha (and any interested others),

Thank you for your interest in "Adventure in Drawing".

"Adventures in Drawing" are two collections of handouts, examples and projects
I have designed for my students (JHS & HS) in Brighton, CO. The original
collection (volume 1) is a LOT of cartooning with sections on drawing
castles, dinosaurs, scenery (desert, basic trees, & jungles), and a few
pages on techniques (perspective, textures & shading) .

The 2nd volume (completed in '97) is more "teacher-friendly" with several
project pages (just copy & leave for a sub), more in-depth information on
shading, perspective and color theory, and fun things for kids to draw (like
dragons, roses, pre-columbian pyramids, and a large underwater section on
fish, whales, sharks, etc.).

Permission to reproduce is included with the collections (all you want for
classroom use ).

I really didn't join this listserve to "advertise", more just for the great
ideas (at 50, I'm starting to run a little dry) and art talk. If you'd like
more information on "adventures", drop me an e-mail note with your mailing
address and i'll send you a packet with some sample pages to try out in class.
