It appears that the forum has quietened some what due to vacations and the like
all of which are quite wonderful. I do miss reading all the wonderful email that
was traveling that wonderful information high way to Hong Kong. I as all of you
have come to the end of another frantic term and like many of you my holidays
will envolve travel infact in late July I will return to America for a month and
a half. For the moment I remain in Hong Kong quite away from people as I live on
a boat. One of my many goals for the summer vacation is to continue work on my
own art images.
When working on my art work I have questions and thoughts:
where is my energy why is it hidding today?
why are my images stagnent, have I found a formula that I cannot break out of?
what do I want with this visual image?
where has this image come from?
will this image take me somewhere?
what is my search?
is it enough to simply explore?
to start with nothing in mind untill something makes a connection is this a way
to work?
is it enough to enjoy shapes and colours to let them dance with the imagination
to allow the unconciouse build an image?
why cover so much paper, paper full of images that only I will see?
what am I learning from that which I do?
why there is a need for verbal exchange and clarification of ones visual image
with an other?
Do any of you struggle so do you have more questions to share or answers
to give?
