Art in Education at the college level

I am an intern at the Arts Council of Richmond, and we're working on a
marketing plan trying to target specific groups in our area that have low
levels of participation in community arts. One of these groups is college
students. We have been very successful when it comes to drawing the interest
of younger children through Partners in the Arts, our education program
in elementary and secondary schools. Through that program, we have shown
teachers how they can use the visual and performing arts to enhance their
own disciplines. We are trying to adapt this program for a university level,
but we are finding it more difficult. There are a greater number of
disciplines, and the University communities tend to want to isolate
themselves. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it.
