Greeting to ARTSEDNET,

I hope it is cool where you are (except henry, I know where you are - the
hottest place on Earth!)

I would appreciate any information that list members could pass along on
heath concerns in a ceramic classroom.

Two teachers at the high schools in my district have suffered very serious
injury (back - disk problem from loading kiln, etc.) and illness (lung
ailment that has cause total disability) from their work. It made me stop
and think that I don't know very much about how to take care of myself and
my students very well. Unfortunatelly that Administration of this district
does not take this very seriously (until the lawsuit comes) and then we may
lose more that we bargained for.

Thank you for any sources/research/guideline that you know of.
