As many of you prepare for the Northern hemisphese's summer break
while we in the South face winter, here's a little ting for you to
For some years now Victorian (OZ) children have been using a new
name for graphite pencils. By pencil I mean varying degrees of graphite
(2H, HB, 2B etc) encased in a round or hexagonal cedar.
I think that this particular namewas introduced here in the 70's as it is
not used in other stsates nor by anyone over 40 years of age.

I will tell you the name now used after I get some feed back from
other countries.
have a good break all you fellow artsednetters.
