Hi -
I just subscribed to your list a couple of days ago. It looks like
there's lots of good conversation happening. Just a couple of things
to ask and say.....

Who knows of some great Internet art or art education sites?? I'd
love to hear about them. If you could just drop me a few addresses,
names, I'd really appreciate it. (I live in Turkey and my connection
is quite slow. Therefore it takes forever to 'surf' the Web.

As I mentioned, I teach in Turkey. I teach at a private Turkish
school in Izmir. Izmir is located on the west coast near the Greek
Islands. Teaching art in Turkey is quite a bit different than
teaching in the States. There are positive aspects and negatives. I
won't get into the details, but I thought I would just let people
know where I am.

Also, if any of you are teaching outside the US or if you are
interested in teaching/teachers outside the US, I have a small group
of people I communicate with on a regular basis. Messages are sent
to me and distributed to art teachers teaching in a handful of
countries .....Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Belgium,
Turkey, and a few other places.

Well, that's all for now!
