I have an Epson 4490 scanner that does 4 slides at a time and I get very good
results. It is older and cost around $200 at the time. Does negatives,
positives, film positives and more. Great scanner.

Subject: [teacherartexchange] best slide scanners
Hello, everyone,
In my new job I will be entering the 21st century just a little late and using a
computer projector thingy after many years of slide projectors. I've never been
impressed with the image quality of the digital projectors, but am not sure I
want to lug my trusty old slide projector all the way to Oman. Therefore, I
will have to digitize the slides I most like to use. I think it would be
cheaper to buy my own scanner in the long run. Have any of you used a scanner
that you've especially liked the results of?
