As the only person in my district who truely uses technology WITH the
students I was given the option of turning in a purchase order for a
laptop - whatever kind I wanted. Well, I want a Mac that runs Parallels (so
I can run Windows). My district is PC and I have to be able to use Office
2007 (along with other PC software, since I am the tech integration
specialist as well). I have only used Macs for Final Cut Pro, iDVD, Garage
Band, & LiveType. EVERYTHING else I do is via PC. Does anyone have a Mac
that runs PC? Can I run the district license of Office 2007 & XP or will we
have to purchase the Mac version? I want to make sure I'm going to be happy
with it, and I need to make VERY sure before the next board meeting where
the purchase order will get approved. Any help out there?
