I know in Kansas you don't have a choice in your schedule as long as you are
certified to teach those subjects/grades. I teach grades 3-12, plus teach a
Digital Communications course. I have grades 7-8 combined and see them
everyday, grades 9-12 I have 2 sections of and I have them combined, and I
see a different grade at the Intermediate each day for one hour. It can be
frustrating at times, I agree, but I'm not sure you have any legal recourse
unless you aren't certified to teach MS.
