I hope you don't get so hung up on spelling that you don't consider that many
words have alternate or European spelling, and some of us have diverse
histories. I, for instance, tend to use the spelling "theatre" instead of "theater"
because my high school drama teacher insisted on it and because I like the
way it looks. Artists' names often have varied spellings, and names of artworks
as well. I think I would look at the ideas first and consider the spelling
errors last.
