Re: [teacherartexchange] NAEA( teacherartexchange digest: June 16, 2007)

I too am interested in hearing what others have to say about NAEA and other
professional art education publications. I thought it was just me, but in the
19 years I have been a member of NAEA I have found very little of value in the
professional publications. Maybe I am just "out of touch" in some way, but
with an undergrad degree in Art History I have loads of experience in research
of a technical and historical nature, and in 13 years as a psychiatric therapy
technician I read lots of material related to my job. I love reading
research journals in science and perceptual psychology when I have access to them, so
why does the art education material seem downright boring?
