The top site has to do with a film about Japanese soldiers.
The second site is about ukiyo-e wood-cut prints of Sino-Japanese war
of 1894-1895 and the Russo-Japanese war of 1904-1905 are usually
called War Prints by collectors. What you wrote sounds Japanese.
Maybe this can be a starting point for a search.
