This project has been very successful with my students...even boys,
but the motivation is the theme/focus they choose. One young man even
carved a golf club out of wood to include in a niche in his book!
They loved it when we used old textbooks !! I have a lesson plan on
my site that you can look at.....which reminds me I need to work on
updating everything over the summer :-)

and Mike, don't worry about repeating things.....remember it is new to
them and maybe they saw other classes working on something and they
have been looking forward to getting to do it!
