Eeek, I have an interview tomorrow. I got a call today for an art position
at an elementary school. I drove down there tonight, and it looks like a
really nice big school. It's an "A" school and is 10 miles closer than my school.
I've heard great things about the principal too. So, why am I feeling kind
of guilty? I'm nervous because I wasn't expecting any calls so soon, and I
don't feel prepared! My portfolio is not as finished as I'd like, but it will
have to do. So far, I plan on asking why the teacher is leaving, what grades I
will teach, how many per class, how many classes per day...and of course I'll
want to see the room. Anything else I should ask? Should I ask what they
expect from the art program?
